Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Girisadan Boutique Stays- Homestay and Farmstay. Here we noted down the Terms and conditions to be Read, Acknowledgeed and Followed by our Guests.

Conditions for Check-in / Checkout

  • Check-in time: 2 PM Onwards and Check-out time: 11 AM
  • Guests shall have valid Government ID and Address Proof (Passport, Driving License or Aadhar Card)
  • For Non-Indian Nationals, each member of the group shall carry their passport containing a valid Indian visa including a photocopy of the picture page and visa page.
  • If the passport is damaged or tampered and/ or you are not allowed to travel by the Airline Authorities, in such a case, bookings made shall be cancelled.

SECURITY DEPOSIT: A refundable deposit is to be paid before check-in. (Only For Big Bookings or parties or Stag Bachelors). This is on the discretion of the Owners / managers of the property and will be collected at check in.

Amount may be retained for any unpaid payment related to extra guests, utilization of chargeable amenities such as pool heating, late checkout (without prior approval), any damages in or to the property ) fixed of movable fixtures, any food-related expenses, etc.

COVENANT FOR CARE OF THE PROPERTY: No damage shall be caused by the undersigned guest and/ or the person accompanying the undersigned guest whose stay has been pre-disclosed to and pre-agreed by Girisadan including any visitor who have been approved to enter and stay at the Villa by Girisadan (collectively, “Guests”; singularly, a “Guest”), to the Villa and the fittings, fixtures, furniture, articles or any other thing provided in or around the property.

The Undersigned Guest shall be liable to pay for any damage whatsoever caused due to any act or omission of or attributable to any of the Guests.

UNDERTAKING TO USE THE PREMISES: The Guests shall adhere to the house rules of the property.

CARETAKER SERVICES: The Caretaker will be available for basic cleaning only. He/ She may not be available throughout the day. For Serving please advise us earlier

NUMBER OF RESIDING GUESTS: The number of Guests accommodated in the property/room shall not exceed the number as agreed the time of booking.

OUTSIDERS/ VISITORS: Non-Guests are not allowed to enter or stay at the property. In case a Guest wishes to invite Non Guests to visit the property, they shall take prior written consent from Girisadan and the same shall be subject to such additional fees and terms and conditions as may be decided by Girisadan.

FLAMMABLE ITEMS: The Guests shall ensure that inflammable, explosive items or any other item which may be illegal to own, possess, distribute, consume and/ or be injurious to the health are not carried to or stored in the said Villa.

LIABILITY: Girisadan, owner of the property or staff at the Villa shall not be responsible for the liability arising out of any claims, expenses, financial or property loss or damage, arising from any injury, accident, death, delay, alteration or inconvenience, by whatever cause including airline scheduling, default, strike, terrorism, war, hostility, civil disturbance, power outage, animal and/ or pest attack, quarantine, epidemic, pandemic or resulting directly or indirectly from act ofGod. We clarify that we take no liability or responsibility for injury, accident, or death involving swimming pool, tripping and falling or for any other accidents, injury in the premises or in the area.

LOST, STOLEN OR ABANDONED ARTICLES: Girisadan, owner of the property or the staff at the property shall not be held responsible for the safety/ loss or theft/ damage of any article of the Guests from the property.

ELECTRICITY: There can be intermittent power cuts, load shedding in the area of the property. Guests are requested to co-operate with us. No refund will be provided for in case of power cuts by the Government and/or the power supply company. We do have Standby Power Backup for lights and Fans which can last up to 4 to 6 Hrs. Nonetheless we will do our best to make you comfortable till such time the Electricity is restored.

INSECTS AND OTHER ANIMALS: The property is amidst nature. Although pest control services are conducted regularly, some insects and even other animals may find access the house. Guests are requested to keep doors and windows shut and take cautionary measures necessary for their personal protection.

CAUTION DURING MONSOONS: Due to continuous rains, the terrain around the house can develop moss which could prove to be slippery. Outdoor furniture and a few other areas of the property may be covered or not be accessible to Guest In the rainy season. Guests are requested to co-operate in such cases with us.

SWIMMING POOL RULES

The  Owner ( Girisadan ) may provide a private or common swimming pool. The use of the swimming pool shall be subject to the terms and conditions of Girisadan as mentioned herein below:

i). Proper swimming costumes shall be used.

ii). Eatables and drinks shall not be permitted in and around the swimming pool.

iii). Children under the age of 12 shall enter the swimming pool strictly under the supervision of adults.

iv). Running, horseplay and diving within the swimming pool area are prohibited.Pool usage timings are 10 AM to 8 PM. 

  • Guests should respect pool timings.
  • Girisadan shall not provide a lifeguard.
  • Girisadan , owner of the property or staff at the property  shall not be held responsible in case of any injury, disability, death or any other harm is caused by usage of the swimming pool or otherwise.

Pool rules and conditions may vary from time to time.

SWIMMING POOL WAIVER

I,   ___________________________   declare that I am authorized to represent, act, declare and sign on behalf of each of the Guests. We understand the pool rules and conditions mentioned above and realize the pool is a privilege that can be revoked at any time.

Signing this form, We release Girisadan, the owner of the property and the staff at the property From any responsibility/ liability including injury, disability, death of any person or any other harm which may be caused to the Guests.  I declare that I am responsible for each of the Guests and I understand that I will be solely held liable for their actions or omissions.

ACKNOWLEDGEMENT, REPRESENTATION & INDEMNITY

I, ____________________________ on behalf of each of the Guests, hereby acknowledge that We have read all the rules and regulations of the Girisadan , terms and conditions mentioned above, and We accept the same.  By signing this form, We hereby: Represent that none of the Guests 

(i) are exhibiting the symptoms of COVID-19, 

(ii) have been in contact with anyperson exhibiting the symptoms of COVID-19 in the preceding 21 days, 

OR

(iii) have travelled to any place identified as a COVID-19 containment zone in the preceding 21 days, or (iv) can reasonably be expected to have contracted  COVID-19;

release owner of the Property and the staff at the property from any responsibility / liability for loss of property or life or theft or damage of any property or any liability arising from non-compliance with any of the rules prescribed by Girisadan or on account of any acts or omissions attributable to us;

AND

(iii) agree that the Guests shall, jointly and severally, indemnify, defend and hold harmless and shall continue to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Girisadan ,  owner and the staff of the property  from any and all third party claims, demands, liabilities, costs or expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees resulting from any breach of obligation or representation set out above or due to any of our acts or omissions.

Restrictions

  • Aadhar, Driving License and Passport are accepted as ID proof(s).
  • Outside food is not allowed.

Guest Profile

  • Unmarried couples allowed.

Authorized ID

  • Local IDs are allowed.
  • Smoking/Alcohol Consumption Rules.
  • There are no restrictions on alcohol consumption.
  • Smoking within the premises is allowed.

Pet(s) Policy

  • We do allow pets at our home – but the pets should be well trained.
  • Extra INR 500 Per Day charges would be applicable for Pets.
  • Only Dogs, as pets, are allowed at the property.
  • Pet food is not available at the property.
  • Pets are allowed to roam without a leash.
  • Pets are not allowed in Bedrooms & strictly not allowed on the beds, inside the Swimming Pool, in the Kitchen.
  • There are other pets living on the property – Caution must be taken.
  • No. of pets allowed at the property: One.
  • Any damages / soiling of bed sheets / linen will be charged as actual and not just laundry / dry clean charge.
  • We have had instances in the past where guests have allowed pets on beds , soiled and mattresses ,left the room with foul odor and full of pet hair.
  • For the same damages will be heavy Please make sure you carry a pet bed and appropriate feeders for dog food.
  • Kindly make sure the pet has a muzzle and does not harm or disturb other guests.

Property Accessibility

  • This property is accessible to guests who use a wheelchair. Guests are requested to carry their own wheelchair.
  • Finding keys to the property.
  • Caretaker Greets You & Helps You Check-in.
  • Host may Greets You at check-in.
  • Self check-in via Smart Door is not available.
  • Guests can collect or deposit keys through the building staff.

Other Rules

  • Entry and exit timings are from 10:00 PM to 05:00 AM.
  • Allows private parties or events.
  • There are restrictions on the entry & exit timings for guests. Please check with the host before making a booking.
  • Guests are requested not to invite outside visitors in the room during their stay.
